ESAGED, Escuela Superior de Archivística y Documentación, linked with Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, has been the first organization to obtain ISO 30301 certification. The certificate has been granted by IGC International Global Certification.

To all who have worked on this series of standards is a good new. The ESAGED has a strong commitment with ISO 30300, developing a specialized training program, which first edition has already been successfully completed. It was a risky decision in times of crisis. I participated as a teacher in this training and students have found great interest to the news of the proposals, particularly the change of viewpoint.

For me the real value of ESAGED certification is the understanding that a School providing a specific training plan on ISO 30300, should lead by example. The implementation of the standard and subsequent certification means that ESAGED staff knows of what they speak when preparing the case study for students..

Now the ISO 30301 training program goes to Mexico, where we are hosted by the Escuela Mexicana de Archivos.

And interest continues growing up...!.
